Do shipping containers have doors on both ends?

Only on the double door variant.

Most shipping containers have doors at only one end. A double door variant has doors at both ends, used for drive-through loading. A side-door container has doors on the long wall. These specialist types cost 15 to 30 percent more than standard. The basic 20ft and 40ft with one set of doors covers most use cases.

Did you know?
Containers with doors at both ends are often used when cargo needs to be loaded or unloaded in a specific sequence. Access from either side can simplify operations considerably.
