THE NEW ARCTIC ULTRAFREEZER2020 FOR ULTRA-COLD STORAGE

Developed to meet the requirement of UltraCold temperatures for the Bio and Life Sciences including the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine!

Our new design ultracold and vaccine storage UltraFreezer includes a single door with a "just in case" escape hatch as required for safe cold room operations in many countries.

Flat floor, alarm, day-glow safety signage, and internal lighting are standard features. GDP compliant and can be supplied with GDP certification.

Can also be supplied with 2 machines for in-built redundancy. The door and escape hatch are located in the sidewall. With both machines running we have realised and maintained almost -80°C.

To accomodate all the extra insulation and free air ciculation inside the containers we needed to make these containers 8'8" high.

HOW IT WORKS

INCREASED INSULATION.

To help the machine rapidly realise the set point required and to reduce power costs to maintain temperature, the design has incorporated significant additional insulation in key areas reducing heat gain.

SPECIAL MACHINERY AND DESIGN.

The machine is a dual compressor solution where pre-cooled refrigerant is further reduced in temperature prior to heat exchange with the internal air.

Traditional full-end do0rs have been replaced with a single door. This dramatically reduces air loss around the insulated door and the rubber door sealing.

TEMPERATURE VARIANCE WITH DOOR OPENING AND DE-FROST EVENTS.

It is inevitable that when opening the storage container doors there will be temperature gain with much hotter ambient air entering the cold zone. This is totally unavoidable! The single smaller door reduces this heat gain compared with traditional double doors. De-frost cycles similarly create warmer air in the container just beneath the ceiling. As vaccines are normally delivered and stored in insulated transport boxes neither of these events should have a negative impact on vaccine temperature.

Please remember - a high CO2 content atmosphere can occur if storing transport boxes with dry ice content.
