How do you close a shipping container?
To close a shipping container, swing both doors shut. Drop each of the 4 locking bar handles back into place. Rotate each handle 90 degrees so the cams re-engage. The door seals press together for a wind- and water-tight closure. Add a padlock through the lock keepers and lock box to secure.
Did you know?
Closing a container properly is partly about protecting the seals. If the doors are not aligned before the locking bars are engaged, extra strain can be placed on the hardware and weather seals over time.
