We have shipping containers to buy available in two sizes: 20ft and 40ft. And with 40+ TITAN container sales yards all over the US and Canada, we can offer delivery costs that are often surprisingly affordable.
Looking for a large container to give you extra space outside your home or workplace? Check out our storage container sales page.
Whether you’re new to shipping or a veteran of the industry, TITAN Containers is a name you’ll already be aware of or will quickly get to know. That’s because we’ve been selling shipping containers all over the world for decades.
Customers trust us because we have the stock, know-how and can-do attitude to supply them with the exact shipping containers they need – quickly.
Our shipping containers are used by:
For buyers who want a sturdy solution to meet their national or global transportation needs, our shipping containers are exactly what they are looking for. And you can choose from brand-new (1-trip) containers or used models in various conditions.
Whether you’re an experienced logistics/supply chain business or new to exporting, our range of shipping containers for sale has all your needs covered.
We offer them in two main sizes: 20ft shipping containers and 40-footers. Need the biggest possible container? Choose a 40ft high cube, which has 10% more height.
Made from corrosion-resistant metal to withstand the rigors of international shipping, our entire collection is also available to private customers who want to buy a shipping container for a domestic relocation or for moving precious cargo, such as a car, to another country.
No matter what kind of client you are, if you need a rock-solid shipping container to move something, we can help.
Our containers are regularly used for:
Please note that if you want to purchase a shipping container to send goods overseas on a container ship, you’ll need a 20ft or 40ft model – no point scrabbling round for an 8-footer, as it’s unlikely to be accepted. A 20ft or 40ft container is the only size that is readily cleared for transit by most international shipping lines.
Your container will be:
You'll find it hard to fault our premium quality containers. They're delivered in a "like new" state and have been used for storage purposes only. Scuffs and marks will be minimal or non-existent.
The second-best container grade covers the next 10-15% of our used models. They're not quite as appealing as a premium quality container, but they are cosmetically sound and should last many years.
Your typical, average-quality used container. Likely to have been made at least 15 years ago, these still have years of use left in them and can often be brought back to their former glory with some TLC.
This is the domain of the cheap used container – our bottom 10-15% of stock in terms of quality. Most are still fully functional, and while their condition is poor they are still the right choice for some buyers.
TITAN’s 20ft shipping container is just the right size for most needs. As well as being pretty easy to transport on the back of a truck or trailer, it’s also widely available across our 40+ North American sales locations – meaning fast delivery is often possible.
If you want to purchase this roomy 20-footer, the internal dimensions are as follows:
Our 20ft shipping containers for sale are perfect for numerous industries, including supermarkets and retailers, agricultural businesses, medicine suppliers, electrical goods manufacturers, and more.
We’re a popular choice across the US and Canada as we offer great deals on delivery rates thanks to our nationwide network of container sales yards.
The floor space of a 20ft container is just shy of 150 square feet – but don’t forget that you can stack goods to a height of almost 8ft – so you can fit numerous personal belongings inside, such as TVs, furniture, beds, clothes, garden equipment, tools and more.
Iif you want something bigger, the container of choice for large loads is our 40-footer. Here’s how this leviathan looks inside:
Our 40-footer is most commonly used for long-distance international transportation of goods, although if you have a big enough trailer and some serious lifting gear, it can be used domestically, too.
As well as different-sized models, we have shipping containers to buy in two other configurations, too. We offer:
High cube container sales – perfect for large loads as they come with an extra 10% of height.
Open top container sales – ideal for awkward loads as they come with an open top that you secure with a tarp.
DNV Offshore container sales – these serioously-tough containers in 10ft and 20ft sizes are built for punishing offshore use.
More than 35 years of expertise – We have been a major name in the container industry since the late 1980s and now have one of the widest selections of shipping containers to buy across the US and Canada.
Great prices – we’re here to help you purchase a shipping container that meets your exact needs at a great price.
Fantastic customer service – clients rate us highly on Trustpilot, and many remain customers for decades. Our friendly service team is always happy to help.
Large range of accessories – we stock everything from locks to ramps and heaters.
To help save you money, we have built up a network of 40+ container sales locations throughout the US and Canada. Our delivery crews pick up from the nearest one to you whenever you order from us.
This helps us to minimize delivery times, which in turn brings down the total cost when you buy a shipping container from us.
All major cities such as Los Angeles, Detroit, Denver, Miami, Houston, Oakland, New York, Toronto and Vancouver are covered, and this wide geographic spread also means we can give you a personal, local service.
As with most container sales businesses, our containers are made in factories overseas. That means if you order a brand new shipping container, it will already have been on a container ship – on its journey to the US – when it arrives at your workplace or home.
It’s why the word ‘new’ isn’t used all that much in the world of shipping containers. We tend to say 1-trip instead. Your container will have brought cargo into the US on its inbound journey (it would be a huge waste to import an empty container), and you’ll be the first to actually own it. So ‘new’ equals ‘1-trip’.
We have highly skilled teams of engineers at many of our locations who can help transform containers into almost anything.
These creative powerhouses are the driving force behind container conversion projects large and small – whether you need to create a mobile, modular ‘foundation’ for a large construction project, such as a dramatic piece of scenery for an event or concert, or you’re looking for a custom, containerized booth/room to take on the road so that you can market your business.
Whatever your dream or vision, our container conversion teams will be happy to talk to you.
We value your business and are here to provide quick and hassle-free support for any inquiries or concerns. Get in touch with us by phone for immediate live assistance – or send us an email. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
